Exploring the Role of Social Impact Right Now

When Covid-19 first began to disrupt daily life for our team spread out all across America a few months back, and many of the events and campaigns we'd been working on were suddenly put on pause, we knew we wanted a way to stay connected to the incredible community we'd cultivated over the years.

So we quickly put together a mid-week webinar, invited everyone we knew, and were pleasantly surprised to see we weren't alone in our desire to remain connected!

The response was so positive, that we scheduled a second webinar, branded it a Coffee Chat with CatalystCreativ, which led to the birth of a weekly webinar series.

Our friends over at The Soze Agency have long been some of our biggest supporters, and important members of our community, so when our friends over at Soze—co-founders Michael Skolnik & Michelle Minguez—reached out about potentially collaborating on a special one-off webinar experience centered around, we jumped at the idea.

Soze and CatalystCreativ agreed: the world could use a little hope, but not stripped from reality. We wanted to discuss a topic that dealt with the reality we're all facing, but that centered around solutions for bettering the state of the world. From our team, Amanda Slavin stepped up to serve as a co-moderator alongside Michael, and our two organizations set out to invite four of the most inspiring, difference-making people we know to serve as guest panelists for the conversation.

We called the webinar "The Role of Social Impact," and were joined by four amazing guests: Crystal Echo Hawk, founder and CEO of IllumiNativeBing Chen, chairman and co-founder of Gold HouseShannon Roche, president & CEO of Yoga Alliance; and Stephanie Werner, CMO of Global Citizen.

The end result was something we won't soon forget. You can watch the entire webinar here, and we highly encourage you to do so!
